Privacy Policy for Fitzo

Fitzo ("we", "our", "the app") is a personal fitness and health tracking application. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's protected.

Data We Collect

When you create a Fitzo account and use the app, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, date of birth, sex, height
• Fitness data: workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, weights, RPE
• Body metrics: weight logs, body measurements (chest, waist, hips, arms, thighs)
• Health data: sleep logs, step counts, blood/health markers (glucose, cholesterol, vitamin levels) if you choose to enter them
• Nutrition data: food logs, calorie and macro targets
• Goals and preferences: fitness goals, daily targets, notification preferences

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Display your personal fitness, health, and nutrition history within the app
• Calculate trends, streaks, and progress (e.g. PRs, weight trends, recovery scores)
• Provide the core functionality you use the app for

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Storage

All data is stored securely in our backend (Supabase), with row-level security ensuring only you can access your own records. Authentication tokens are stored on-device using secure, encrypted storage (Expo SecureStore).

Third-Party Services

Fitzo uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Resend — transactional email delivery (account confirmation, password reset)
• RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management

These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function (e.g. your email address for sending confirmation emails, or anonymized purchase events for subscription management).

Your Rights

• Edit or delete any of your logged data at any time within the app
• Permanently delete your account and all associated data via Settings → Delete Account
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our database.

Children's Privacy

Fitzo is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
